Cookies and storage
Last updated:
1. What we store in your browser
Only what is needed for the service to work and remember your preferences. We use no advertising or analytics cookies and do not track your activity on other sites, which is why we do not show a cookie acceptance banner.
2. Own preferences
| Name | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|
lang | Cookie with your preferred language. | 1 year |
cs-theme | Light or dark theme. | Until you clear it |
cs-sidebar-collapsed | Whether the side menu is collapsed. | Until you clear it |
cs-hints-seen | Which contextual hints you have already seen. | Until you clear it |
cs.prefs.voice | Last voice you chose. | Until you clear it |
cs.prefs.format | Last video format you chose. | Until you clear it |
3. Necessary third-party services
Firebase Authentication keeps your session in browser storage (IndexedDB) to keep you signed in. Firebase App Check uses Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise to check that requests come from a person and not a bot; that check may process device data under Google's conditions.
4. How to delete them
You can remove them at any time from your browser settings. If you do, your preferences are reset and you will have to sign in again.
